  If a compile error occurs during synchronization in Yamaha Software, it might be because the DSP total resource consumption has exceeded the upper limit. To resolve this, delete unneeded components so that the Resource Meter window reads 100% or less. Another cause could be the wiring between components is connected from multiple output terminals to a single input. Change the connections so that a single output is connected to a single input terminal. You can use a matrix mixer or similar component to gather multiple outputs into one signal.

  If you cannot place a component or wiring in Yamaha Software, it could be because you are in online status. Execute [Go Off-line] on the synchronization screen to go into offline status. Another reason might be that the Designer window is not in edit mode. Place a checkmark next to [Edit] on the [Tool] menu. Also, the currently logged-on user might be restricted from editing. Log off, then log in again as a new user or as the Administrator. If edit restrictions are required for a user, place a check in the [Security] ? [Edit] checkbox.

  If the message “Reset Config…” is displayed for a long time in the message area of the “Synchronization” dialog box in Yamaha Software, this is not abnormal. If many scenes are entered into the DME, processing takes time. Wait until processing finishes.
