This document is the owner's manual for the Yamaha MXT9K motorcycle, providing comprehensive information on its operation, maintenance, and safety.
Function Description:
The Yamaha MXT9K is a leaning multi-wheel motorcycle designed for on-road use, offering a blend of fine sporting, touring, and pacesetting racing machine characteristics. It is equipped with an electronically controlled engine performance system called D-mode, which allows riders to select different engine response characteristics (MODE 1, MODE 2, MODE 3) to suit various riding conditions. The motorcycle also features a cruise control system to maintain a set cruising speed, operating in 4th, 5th, or 6th gear at speeds between approximately 50 km/h (31 mi/h) and 160 km/h (100 mi/h). For enhanced safety, it includes an Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) that acts on both front and rear brakes independently, and a Traction Control System (TCS) to help maintain traction on slippery surfaces. The quick shift system (QS) allows for full-throttle, clutch lever-less, electronically-assisted upshifts.
