Why can't I hear the rhythm when playing Pianist styles on my Yamaha Musical Instrument?
    • W
      William RogersAug 18, 2025
This is normal. The Pianist styles have no drums or bass — only piano accompaniment. The accompaniment of the style can only be heard when accompaniment is set to ON and keys are played in the auto accompaniment section of the keyboard.

Why does my Yamaha Musical Instrument make noise when I use my mobile phone?
    • L
      lhollandAug 21, 2025
To prevent noise when using a mobile phone with your Yamaha Musical Instrument PSR-350, either turn off the mobile phone or use it further away from the instrument. Using a mobile phone in close proximity to the PSR-350 may produce interference.

How to fix no sound on Yamaha Musical Instrument?
    • B
      Benjamin AliAug 26, 2025
If no sound is coming from your Yamaha Musical Instrument, first check that nothing is connected to the PHONES/OUTPUT jack on the rear panel, as this will prevent sound output. Also check the Local Control on/off. (See page 82.)

Why is the sustain footswitch reversed on my Yamaha Musical Instrument?
    • C
      Cassandra ArmstrongAug 28, 2025
If the footswitch seems to produce the opposite effect on your Yamaha Musical Instrument, it means that the polarity of the footswitch is reversed. Ensure that the footswitch plug is properly connected to the SUSTAIN jack before turning on the power.

Why does the right hand section of my Yamaha Musical Instrument keyboard not produce sound?
    • D
      Dwayne HoltSep 7, 2025
If playing keys in the right hand section of the keyboard does not produce any sound on your Yamaha Musical Instrument, it is because when using the Dictionary function (page 46), the keys in the right hand section are used only for entering the chord root and type.

Why do some voices not sound on my Yamaha Musical Instrument?
    • M
      Miguel MillerSep 9, 2025
If not all of the voices seem to sound, or the sound seems to be cut off on your Yamaha Musical Instrument, it may be because the PSR-350 is polyphonic up to a maximum of 32 notes. If the Dual voice or Split voice is being used and a style or song is playing back at the same time, some notes/sounds may be omitted (or 'stolen') from the accompaniment or song.
