  If the sound from your Yamaha Musical Instrument is too quiet even when the volume is at its highest, check these things: * Make sure the Master Volume isn't set too low; turn it clockwise to increase the volume. * Ensure the Expression Pedal is fully pressed down with your toe. * Verify that the POWER switch of the speaker is turned on. * (For ELS-02C models) Confirm the REAR SPEAKER switch is set to ON.

Try using a different USB drive or deleting unnecessary songs. * If you're overwriting a song, the new part can't be longer than the old one. Delete the old song and record again. * The performance data might be too large; the limit is 1 MB.

  If you can't hear the accompaniment on your Yamaha Musical Instrument, even with the right type selected and the rhythm started, check the following: * Make sure the Accompaniment volume isn't set to 0. Increase it in the Rhythm Condition display. * Ensure that the accompaniment parts are not muted. If so, set the desired part to on.
