1) The inspection has been made by applying those inspections methods and standards, or parts of standards, which are
relevant to the boat type (equipment) in question.
2) X = inspected, - = inspection item not relevant to the boat type (equipment), v = inspection of this item is not included in
the inspection assignment (see the conformity verification module).
1.3 RANGE OF USE
The Yamarin 6230 has been certified in accordance with boat design category C of the
Recreational Craft Directive of the European Union. This means that the boat is designed for
use in coastal waters, where conditions up to wind force 13 m and significant wave heights up
to 2 m may be experienced. (The term 'significant wave height' is used in boat design. In
practice, the significant wave height is obtained by calculating the average for the highest third
of all wave heights measured in that particular water area. In other words, if the significant
wave height is 2.0 metres, the average height of all waves is approx. 1.2 metres.)
1.4 IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
Each boat is marked with its own identification number. (It is also called 'hull number' or 'HIN
code'.) The boat's identification number is located on the right side of the transom, below the
rubbing strake Do not change, hide or remove this number, or the warranty becomes invalid.
Write the identification number down in this manual and somewhere else where it is not lost.
When dealing with the manufacturer or your Yamarin dealer, always mention the identification
number, which ensures that you get the right spare parts.
