System Overview
This electronic control system consists of the following equipment:
One Yanmar i5501E Digital Display per engine Shift & Throttle Control Head
Yanmar i5601E Digital Display
The unit displays real-time data as well as warnings or alarms for any engine abnormality. Diagnostic
codes are also displayed for use by Yanmar technicians.
Shift & Throttle Control Head
The Shift and Throttle Control Head selects the gear positions and the throttle settings. The Control
Head has several lights that confi rm modes of operation and display warnings if present. Buttons enable
