Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new device. With it, you have chosen a high quality
product. During production, this equipment has been checked for quality and subjected to a
final inspection.
The functionality of your equipment is therefore guaranteed.
The operating instructions constitute part of this product.
They contain important information on safety, use and disposal. Before using the
product, familiarise yourself with all of the operating and safety instructions. Use the product
only as described and for the applications specified.
Keep this manual safely and in the event that the product is passed on, hand over all
documents to the third party.
INTENDED USE
This balcony PV system is device which is to be used as a small power supply system for
self-consumption.Intended use also includes observing and adhering to all the information
in these operating instructions. Any other improper use can lead to a significant hazard to
people, animals or the environment.
This device is not intended for commercial use. Manufacturer is not liable for damages, which
result from non-intended use.
Throttling to 600 W
This balcony power plant is intended for private use. As of January 1, 2024, a maximum
power (“minor limit”) of 600 W may not be exceeded. That is why this device is delivered
with throttled maximum power.
In the course of 2024, the limit is to be increased from 600 W to 800 W. As soon as the
changes to the relevant laws and standards have been completed, the throttling can be lifted.
This is done via the associated app in the menu item “Option->Remote Setting->Power
adjustment”. If necessary, restart the app so that option “Power adjustment” becomes
available. For details, please see the “App Functions” section.
General notes on balcony solar systems
Most PV systems require installation and placing into operation by a qualified electrician.
Small devices with a power of 600 W per household are exempted from this rule: Residents
may install those by temselves. Conditions apply:
- A qualified electrician shall check the power circuit and circuit breakers to ensure the
house installation is compatible with the PV system.
- Registration with your local power supplier is required. Please contact your local
supplier for details.
- Registration with the Federal Network Agency's market master data register
(Marktstammdatenregister) is mandatory. Please visit www.marktstammdatenregister.

Individual requirements from your rental agreement or building code may apply.
