2. Assemble the components together as
shown using the 3/8” x 4-3/4” bolt
(p/n:06427) and 3/8” nylock nut
(p/n:001205P). Do not over tighten. You
should be able to freely pivot the latch handle
in the bracket.
3. Attach assembled latch to dumpbed as
shown using (1) 3/8” x 2” black zinc button-
head bolt (p/n:06490), and (1) 3/8” x 1-1/2”
black zinc button-head bolt (p/n:06489).
Place (1) 3/8” ID x 1-1/4” OD flat washer
(p/n:06491), under the head of the 2” bolt.
Fasten using (2) 3/8” nylock nuts
(p/n:001205P).
4. Below the latch locate the threaded
insert that is located in the side channel of
the dump bed (see above picture to help
illustrate) and attach the 2.875” spring (p/n:
06143) using bolt a 3/8” x 1” (p/n:06153).

Latch Handle
