Step 5 – Find the 1/2” wide x 21-1/2” long Seal Strips. Adhere (1)
to the left side and (1) to the right side of the lid, as shown.
Step 6 – Inside the cooking Chamber, locate #10 Flange nuts
below hinges.
Step 7 – Using 3/8” Wrench, loosen and remove ange nuts
from hinge closest to the hopper, as shown. Set these aside for
reassembly.
Note: It may be required to apply pressure to the Flat-Head
Phillips Screw to fully disengage the nuts.
Step 8 – Remove the (2) Flat Head screws from hinge closest to
the hopper.
Step 9 – WITH THE AID OF ANOTHER PERSON, slightly lift the
lid and slide the shim under the hinge and align holes, as shown.
Step 10 – Install and hand-tighten (2) of the 3/4” long Flat Head
Phillips supplied in kit through chamber with #10 Flange Nuts
removed in Step 7, as shown.
