Overview

The provided manual describes the YOLI Adventure EasyLift 10'x10' 100 Instant Canopy, a portable shelter designed for quick and easy setup, suitable for single-person or two-person operation.

Function Description:

The YOLI Instant Canopy serves as a temporary outdoor shelter, primarily for providing shade. Its "Instant Canopy" designation highlights its ease and speed of deployment compared to traditional tents or canopies. The "EasyLift" feature suggests a design that minimizes effort during setup, likely through a mechanism that assists in raising the frame. The canopy is designed to be secured to the ground for stability, making it suitable for various outdoor conditions. It also includes the option to attach a wall for additional enclosure or privacy.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Dimensions: 10'x10' (referring to the footprint of the canopy).
  • Model: Adventure 100.

    • Wall (1) (optional attachment)
    • Wheeled Bag (1) (for transport and storage)
    • Stakes (4) (for ground anchoring)

Usage Features:

Setup (Single Person):

  1. Frame Placement: Place the frame in the desired location.
  2. Initial Opening: Hold one hand on a frame leg below the black fastening strip and the other on the lower eaves bar. Lift the leg slightly so only the leg directly across bears weight. Step backward to open the frame as much as possible.
  3. Canopy Top Attachment: Unfold the canopy top and place it over the open frame. Secure each corner by attaching it to the black fastening strip, pulling all 4 corners down completely over the strip to secure the top to the frame.
  4. Full Opening & Locking: Ensure the canopy top is over the eaves on all 4 sides. Stand in the middle of the eaves between two legs, place hands on the eaves, and lift to gain access underneath. Once underneath, place a hand on the black center hub and push up, twisting the hub 1¼ turns clockwise to lock the frame.
  5. Height Adjustment: Lift each outer leg and slide out the inner leg to the desired height (3 adjustments available). Repeat for all 3 remaining legs.
  6. Wall Attachment (Optional): Fasten wall straps around the frame legs if desired.

Setup (Two Person):

  1. Frame Placement: Place the canopy frame in the desired location.
  2. Initial Opening: With a partner on the opposite side, hold the legs, lift slightly off the ground, and step backward a few steps to extend the frame to full arm's length.
  3. Canopy Top Attachment: Unfold the canopy top and place it over the open frame. Secure each corner by attaching it to the black fastening strip, pulling all 4 corners down completely over the strip to secure the top to the frame.
  4. Height Adjustment (Initial): With the partner on the same side, extend the inner leg from the outer leg, resulting in one low side and one high side. One person goes underneath the high side, places a hand on the black center hub, and pushes up, twisting the hub 1¼ turns clockwise to lock the frame.
  5. Height Adjustment (Final): With the partner on the low side, slightly lift the outer leg and slide out the inner leg to the desired height so all 4 inner legs are extended.
  6. Wall Attachment (Optional): Fasten wall straps around the frame legs if desired.

Securing the Canopy:

  • Stakes: Insert included metal stakes into each foot corner.
  • Anchor Bags: For additional stability, fill anchor bags with sand, dirt, or small rocks (without sharp edges) and attach them to each leg.

Takedown (Single Person):

  1. Wall Removal (If attached): Unfasten wall straps around frame legs.
  2. Leg Lowering: Slightly lift a leg and depress the chrome button to unlock and telescope the inner leg into the outer leg. Repeat for the leg on the same side, creating one low side and one high side.
  3. Unlocking Frame: Go underneath the high side of the canopy to turn the hub 1½ turns counter-clockwise to unlock the frame. Walk back out and lower the other two legs as done in step 2.
  4. Folding Frame: Position one hand on any frame leg just below the black fastening strip and lift slightly off the ground. Walk towards the opposite leg corner to fold the canopy frame. Exercise caution to avoid pinching fingers as the frame closes.

Takedown (Two Person):

  1. Wall Removal (If attached): Unfasten wall straps around frame legs.
  2. Leg Lowering: Stand on the same side as your partner. Both slightly lift a leg in tandem and depress the chrome button to unlock and telescope the inner leg into the outer leg, resulting in one low side and one high side.
