Troubleshooting
Should the air conditioning unit not operate correctly, please check the following points.
NOTE: Should the problem persist after having checked these points, contact your closest technical service.
Problem Cause
The unit is totally inoperative. - No power supply.
- Main switch is off.
- Power supply voltage is insufcient.
- START/STOP set to STOP.
- Control system failure.
The unit goes off after start-up. - Condensing unit air intake our outlet obstructed.
- Irregular operation of control circuit.
- Outdoor temperature is above 43° C in cooling mode.
Does not cool sufciently. - Dirty air lter.
- Too many heat sources in the room.
- Doors or windows open.
- Air intake or outlet obstructed.
- Temperature selected is too high.
- Refrigerant leak.
- Problems with the temperature sensor.
Does not heat sufciently. - Dirty air lter.
- Doors or windows open.
- Air intake or outlet obstructed.
- Temperature selected is too high.
- Refrigerant leak.
- Outdoor temperature is below -5° C.
- Irregular operation of control circuit.
Indoor fan inoperative in heat mode. - Pipe sensor in wrong position.
- Pipe sensor is cut off.
- Pipe sensor cable cut.
- Current leak in electric condenser.
Maintenance
Daily maintenance
1. Clean air lter.
2. Do not remove lter without cleaning it.
3. The lter should be cleaned very frequently
when operating in bad conditions (every
two weeks is recommended).
NOTE: Please check the following points
prior to cleaning the unit.
1. Disconnect power supply before touching
the unit.
2. Turn the unit off prior to cleaning so as to
avoid electric discharges.
3. Do not pour water directly on the unit as
this could cause electric discharges.
4. Make sure the installation is rmly in
place.
Maintenance at the beginning
of each season
1. Check for obstruction of air intakes and
outlets.
2. Make sure the unit is grounded
correctly.
3. Make sure the air lter is installed
correctly.
4. Make sure letters appear on the wall
remote control unit LCD display after
turning the unit on.
NOTE: If you notice anything is incorrect,
contact your technical service.
Maintenance at the end of each
season
1. Let the unit operate for half a day in vent
mode, on a sunny day, so as to dry it
internally.
2. If the unit is not to be used for a long
period of time, disconnect power supply
and make sure the letters on the LCD
display disappear.
