Installation Instructions
This kit includes the parts necessary to install Tear Bar, Ground Strap and Printhead
Assembly. Read these instructions thoroughly before attempting to install this kit.
Tools Required
• T8 TORX Driver (2.5 +/- 1 in. lb.)
Removing the Tear Bar
1. Use a T8 TORX driver to remove the
two (2) screws holding the Tear Bar to
the Printer Frame. (Retain the Ground
Strap which is secured by one of the
screws.)
2. Lift the Tear Bar off the Printer
Frame to remove.
Installing the Tear Bar
1. Place the Tear Bar on the Printer
Frame by aligning the holes in Tear
Bar with the corresponding holes in
the frame (as shown).
