  If your ZMODO DVR is detecting offline IP cameras, access the [Device Management] page and unmark the "Search and Add All Devices Automatically" option. Then, under the "Channel" column, select the channel of the camera that is not properly connected, and press the "Delete Device" button. Next, select the "Auto Add" option and wait 3-5 minutes. If the cameras still aren't set up, repeat these steps. If problems persist, press the "Search for Device" function and select the device with the corresponding MAC address shown on your IP camera. Alternatively, add the camera manually by selecting "Add Device Manually" and inputting the MAC address.

  If your ZMODO DVR system won't turn on, first ensure the power brick is securely connected to the wall plug. Then, verify the power adapter is properly plugged into both the power outlet and your DVR system. If it still doesn't receive power, check the POWER LED indicator on the DVR's front panel. Also, if connected through a surge protector, ensure it's switched on. Finally, test the outlet with another device to confirm it's providing power; if not, try a different outlet.

  If your ZMODO DVR's hard drive isn't being detected, the hard drive cables may not be properly connected. Remove the cover and check that the SATA power and data cables are securely connected to both the logic board and the hard drive. Also, your hard drive may not be compatible with the system. Check your HDD compatibility with the recommendations under the HDD Installation section of this user manual.

  If your ZMODO DVR shows a live feed that doesn't match your camera, the NVR might be adding other IP cameras on your network. To fix this, access the [Device Management] page and unmark the "Search and Add All Devices Automatically" option.
