If your Zodiac Swimming Pool Vacuum isn't cleaning part of the pool correctly, repeat the immersion steps, varying the immersion location until you find the right place in the pool. Ensure enough cable is unrolled into the pool and the rest is laid out by the pool side, as cable positioning can limit movement. Also, check if the filter is full or dirty and clean it.

Why Zodiac VOYAGER RE 4100 Swimming Pool Vacuum doesn't climb walls?
    • K
      Kristen TylerAug 26, 2025
If your Zodiac Swimming Pool Vacuum isn't climbing walls, several factors could be the cause. Ensure that the Floor/Walls/Waterline mode is selected. Observe the cleaner's behavior for about 20 minutes in Walls/Waterline mode. A full or clogged filter can also prevent proper climbing; clean it with fresh water, or with an acidic solution like spirit vinegar if it's severely clogged and replace the filter if necessary. Slack tracks, debris, or objects preventing the bypass from operating can also be the cause; contact your retailer to replace the tracks or clean the bypass. Microscopic algae may be present; perform shock chlorination and slightly reduce the pH, but do not leave the appliance in the water during shock treatment.
