• Do n ot use th e follow in g:
* Detergents other than mild kitchen detergent, such as thinner and bleach. Doing so may cause discoloration, cracks,
degradation or corrosion.
• Polishing powder, nylon brushes, scrub brushes, anything made with metal, eraser pads, hard nylon sponges and
abrasive cleaners. Doing so may cause corrosion.
•W h e n using ch em ically treated cloths, do no t ru b to o hard o r leave them on the p ro d uct fo r a lon g tim e as the
surface o f th e p ro d uc t m ay becom e dam aged fro m che m ical reactions.

® P our water in the Filter Basket, press the Drip Prevention Valve tw o or three tim es and wash.
@ Wipe dry with a soft d ry cloth.
• If coffee grounds clog the Drip Prevention Valve, it may not seal properly and coffee may overflow.
Be sure to wash it after each use.
• Be sure to fully drain water from the Filter Basket. Otherwise, this water may drip into your coffee
during brewing.
• Handle the Drip Prevention Valve carefully. Pulling on it may cause it to come off.
Do not disassemble the Drip Prevention Valve.
If it com es off, reattach corre ctly as shown below.
© Place th e spring on the Filter Basket.
© Insert the Drip Prevention Valve through the spring and into the opening of the Filter Basket.
© Hold the Drip Prevention Valve in and attach the R ubber G asket to the groove from the inside.

may
