Sharing Your Mobile Data
Connection Through Tethering
You can use tethering to share your phone’s Internet connection
with a computer that connects to your phone via USB cable,
USB-to-Ethernet adapter or Bluetooth.
NOTE:
You cannot transfer files between your phone and the computer
when the phone is USB tethered or Ethernet tethered.
1. Open Settings and touch Mobile network > Hotspot and
tethering.
2. Switch on USB tethering, Bluetooth tethering or Ethernet
tethering.
For USB tethering, connect your phone to the computer
with the supplied USB cable before touching USB
tethering.
For Bluetooth tethering, pair your phone with the
computer via Bluetooth and set the computer to obtain
its network connection via Bluetooth.
For Ethernet tethering, connect a USB-to-Ethernet
adapter to your phone and then connect the adapter to
the computer with a LAN cable before switching on
Ethernet tethering. The adapter and the LAN cable are
not included in the box and you need to buy them
separately.
