Whenyou’reconnectedtotheinternet,
thelightonthemodemwillbegreen.
Ifitshowsred,you’renotconnected.
BeforeyoutryanduseyourUSB
modem,you’llneedtomakesure
thatyourcomputeristurnedoff.
ThenconnecttheUSBmodemtothe
USBport(usingthecablesupplied)
andturnyourcomputeron.

Onceyouturnyourcomputeron,thesoftwarewillautomaticallyinstallitself.You’llrst
seeanewiconinthestatusbar(seebelow)andthisshowsthattheUSBmodemand
computerhavebeenconnectedwithoutanyproblems.
Afterafewseconds,theinstallationwillautomaticallycontinue.Thenjustfollow
theon-screeninstructionsandwaituntilyoucanstartusingthemobileinternet.
If you own a Mac
IfyouownaMac,you’llneedtoinstallthesoftwareusingtheCDthatcamewith
thispack.AllyouneedtodoisinserttheCDintoyourdiskdriveandfollowthe
on-screeninstructions.
Disconnecting the USB modem
TomakesurethatyourremovetheUSBmodemsafely,pleasedisconnectinthe
correctway.Forexample,MicrosoftWindowsusersneedtorightclickonthe
iconinthestatusbar,andselectSafelyRemoveHardware.Followtheon-screen
promptsuntilyou’retoldthatit’ssafetoremovetheUSBmodem.
