6. On your phone, your friend’s device name will appear and
touch the device name to send the content.
7. Accept the sharing on your friend’s device.
Get Content From Someone
1. Ask your friend to follow the “Share Content With Someone”
steps above.
2. You’ll get a notification that someone is sharing content with
you. Touch the notification if you haven’t set your phone
visible to nearby devices.
NOTE:
Make sure both devices are unlocked, and have Nearby
Share, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and location turned on.
3. Touch Accept to get the content.
Choose Who Can Share Content With You
1. Open Settings and touch Connected devices >
Connection preferences > Nearby Share.
2. Touch Device visibility and choose one of the following
options.
All contacts: Your phone is visible to your contacts while
your phone screen is on and unlocked. You need to sign
in to your Google account first.
Some contacts: Your phone is visible to nearby contacts
you choose while your phone screen is on and unlocked.
You need to sign in to your Google account first.
