  Poor network performance or network failure can be caused by improper network cabling or topology setup. This can be due to faulty cables (replace with new standard network cables), non-standard network cables (refer to the Front Panel Connections section for more information on network cable types), excessive cabling length (network cables should not exceed 100 meters), too many hubs between computers (remove unnecessary hubs), or a loop in the data path (ensure no loops in your network topology).
