1. What is RAID?
RAID stands for Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks. It takes two or more hard
disks to achieve greater levels of performance, reliability and/or larger volume of
data size.
2. What kind of RAID is supported in NSA210?
NSA210 supports RAID 1 and JBOD. RAID 1 is only available when you install the hard
disk in the NSA210 and an eSATA hard disk attached to the NSA210.
3. What is eSATA?
eSATA is the external counterpart of the SATA interface. It has all of SATA's features
but with the added advantage of being mobile.
4. What is the file system supported in NSA210?
Internal file system: EXT3 and FAT32.
External file system: EXT3, EXT2, NTFS, FAT16, FAT32, ReiserFS and XFS.
5. How does it work after pressing copy button in the front panel of NSA210?
When pressing the “COPY/SYNC” button, it will initiate the process copying from the
one USB device which is last recognized by NSA210. In other words, users might link
two USB storages in both of USB ports of NSA210 at the same time. At this moment,
if users press button "COPY/SYNC", NSA210 does not copy files into NSA210 from
both of USB devices together, but only from the USB storage which is the last one
recognized by NSA210.
6. Which kind of the multimedia server does NSA210 support?
NSA210 supports Squeeze Center, DLNA server, UPnP AV Server, iTunes Server and
DRM.
7. Does NSA210 support DLNA media server?
Yes. NSA210 supports DLNA 1.5 compliant media server.
8. Which kinds of video file format are supported by NSA210?
NSA210 supports the following video formats: MPEG-1/MPEG-2, MPEG-4, AVI, DivX,
Motion JPEG, Quick Time Video, RealMedia, Ogg, Matroska, ASF, Windows Media
