2.  When exposed to eye and face hazards, wear additional eye and/or face protectors appropriate to the 
hazard. ANSI Z87.1 – Occupational and Educational Eye and Face Protection, incorporated by reference in 
the OSHA Eye and Face Standard 29 CFR 1910.133, requires safety spectacles or goggles to be worn in 
conjunction with the welding helmet if the visor can be raised from the normal position during use. Failure 
to do so may result in serious bodily injury or death.
When assembled according to these User Instructions, this welding helmet meets requirements of the ANSI 
Z87.1.
Occupational use of this product for eye and face and/or head protection must be in compliance with applicable 
health and safety standards. In the US, employers must comply with the OSHA personal protective equipment (PPE) 
standard (29 CFR 1910.132) and, as applicable, the eye and face standard (29 CFR 1910.133). In Canada, consult 
the applicable standard(s) for your jurisdiction.
