  A.O. Smith Water Heaters can leak for several reasons: * A water connection (threaded) may be loose. Try tightening the connection. * There may be a condensate leakage. Check that the condensation water discharge is working properly, and rectify if needed. * The leak could be coming from another nearby water heater or pipe segment. Trace the leak to identify the source. * The water heater tank itself might be leaking. In this case, consult the supplier and/or manufacturer.

Check if the isolator is ON, if there is power to the isolator, if the ON/OFF switch of the controller is ON, and if there is power to the electrical connector block. The measured voltage should be 230 VAC (-15%, +10%). * The hot water supply may be used up. Reduce hot water consumption and allow the water heater time to heat up. * The controller might be in the OFF position. Switch the controller to the ON position. * The temperature (Tset) might be set too low. Set the temperature (Tset) to a higher setting.
