4.5.5.1  SEARCHING FOR THE IPEI NUMBER ON THE DIFFERENT HANDSETS 
On Openphone 27 and 28 
For Openphone 27 and 28 type handsets, the IPEI number is indicated in a specific menu:

Note : 
Using the interactive keys, successively select “Menu/Local mode/System/IPEI”. 
Click OK to confirm. 
The IPEI number is displayed. 
 
On an M910, M915 or M92xvtype handset 
For this type of handset, the IPEI number is indicated on a label inside the battery compartment. 
 
On M90x and M92x type handsets 
For latest M92xx type handsets, the IPEI number is indicated on a label inside the battery compartment. 
For older versions of these handsets, if this number is not indicated, follow the procedures described below: 
•  Press simultaneously the “1”, “5”, and “9” keys: the hexadecimal value of the IPEI number is 
indicated: 
 This procedure is reserved for the installer or operator, since the associated 
key combinations are not explicit for a normal user.

From address 23B to 23F for M90xx type handsets 
From (hexadecimal) address 1662 up to 1666 
Convert this value to decimal using the utility available on the application CD (see 
the description of this tool below). 
Enter the value in the screen defining the handset characteristics and complete it 
with the control digit. 
Using the tool IPEI.exe 
Click on the   icon. 
♦  Enter the handset hexadecimal value in the IPEI (Hexadecimal) field.
