FOR OPTIMUM SYSTEM PERFORMANCE
the flowmeter body and electrically conductive pip-
ing must be connected to a good earth ground.

Install grounding ring
between pipe flange
and meter (one up-
stream and one
downstream).
( Refer to FIGURE 7 )

Two ground straps
are supplied with the
meter for connection
to the upstream and
downstream ground-
ing rings.
•
Customer must sup-
ply and in-stall
ground strap (e.g.,
1/2" copper braid)
from meter ground-
ing stud to an exter-
nal earth ground.
•
Refer to Figure 8 for
optional grounding
ring dimensions.
