5. Maintenance
5.1 General
Before performing any maintenance operation in the switchboard or in the installed equipment it is
compulsory to:
- Power the compartment off (if possible), otherwise power off only the relevant section (power and
auxiliary circuits)
- Earth the unit involved for work on it.
Only in case of absolute necessity and for switchboards in partially or totally segregated execution, it is
possible to keep in service some parts of the compartment. In any case, do not remove any diaphragm
or panel which require the use of tools, before having checked that in the related compartment area the
voltage has been cut off.
Establish the earth connection.
