2. 4 RECLOSER/SYNCH-CHECK DESCRIPTION
2.4.1 Display Module (MMI)
The reclosing function shares the front panel display and push-buttons with the protection dis-
play functions. The selection between protection (PROTECT) display and reclosing/synch-
check (RECLOSE) display is made by operating the white switch at the bottom right of the LCD
display to the desired function.
2.4.2 LED Indicators
Yellow LEDs in the center of the relay front panel are dedicated to indication of the recloser and
synch-check functions. See Table 2-2 for descripton of LED indicators.
2.4.3 LEDs and Display Reset
The push-button labelled RESET is used to reset all the LEDs and switch the display to
“READY” state, or LOCKOUT” state if reclosing is LOCKED OUT. (Display white switch must
be on “Recloser”.)

COMMUNICATION CONNECTION
The NET or RS232 Product Operated Network Interface (PONI) Communication module is mounted on the inside of the case to the
