Application Manual
5.2 Outputs
5.2.1 Outputs for tripping and controlling
Output contacts PO1, PO2, PO3 and PO4 are heavy-duty trip contacts capable of
controlling most circuit breakers. They can be used for any such application. However,
recloser closing and opening signals are issued from UPD module as described in section
5.2.4.
Table 18: Output contacts
5.2.2 Outputs for signaling
Output contacts SO1 and SO2 in slot X100 or SO1, SO2, SO3 and SO4 in slot X105/X110
(optional) can be used for signaling on pickup and tripping of the relay. On delivery from
the factory, the pickup and alarm signals from all the protection stages are routed to
signaling outputs.
