Application
The combined overcurrent and earth-fault relay
SPAJ 141 C is intended to be used for the selec-
tive short-circuit and earth-fault protection of
radial feeders in resistance earthed or impedance
earthed power systems. The integrated protec-
tive relay comprises both an overcurrent unit and
an earth-fault unit with highly flexible tripping
and signalling facilities. The feeder protection can
be used in applications requiring a single-, two-
or three-phase overcurrent protection and a non-
directional earth-fault protection. The overcur-
rent and earth-fault relay also comprises a circuit
breaker failure protection.
