6. Assembly of the switchgear at site
Control cables
The control cables are conveyed into the panel
through the control wiring duct on the left hand
panel side. Mounting procedure:
• Insert the cables into the control wiring duct
on the lefthand side.
• Strip the insulation of the control cables, fix
at the top end of the duct and convey the
wires into the low voltage compartment.
Cables are conveyed into the low votage
compartment through ABB cable bushing.
• Pull control cables through ABB bushing and
strap the ABB bushing with cable tie.
• Connect control cables to the terminal strip
according to the circuit diagram.

• Make the control wiring interconnections to
adjacent panels using integrated cable
channel. Interconnection wiring is conveyed
around top holders and can be additionally
fixed on pre-prepared holes – no view barrier
on devices.
• Opening at the floor level should be sealed in
order to ensure that external IP4X will be
achieved.
• It‘s recommended not to strip the armour
and the shield (if applicable) from the cable
untill the LV compartment entry
• Plate with grommets is at the LV
compartment entry point. Do not remove it,
it serves for separating the LV compartment
from the control cable channel.
