      If you're experiencing remote communication issues with your ABB Measuring Instruments, consider the following steps: * Ensure the symbol flashes in the A8 display position. * Set the port Listen Cycle to zero. * Select Totalflow Remote Protocol in the port configuration. * Increase the cutoff voltage value specified in Station Setup > Remote Comm Cutoff Voltage. * Check the communication port wiring on both the flow computer and the radio. * Confirm that all communication cables are intact and undamaged. * Verify the antenna is properly installed. * Check that the base radio (host device, typically running WinCCU) is working at other locations. * Verify the configuration of the host communication application (typically WinCCU).

      If the screen locks up during startup, try the following: 1. Attach the lithium battery to the board. 2. Perform a warm boot by locating RESET (XFC[G5] S2 and XRC[G5] S6) on the electronic board, then press and hold for 10 seconds. 3. If the warm boot doesn't work, perform a cold boot. Locate the COLDBOOT button (S9) and the RESET button (XFC[G5] S2 and XRC[G5] S6) on the electronic board. Press and hold the COLDBOOT button and at the same time press and hold the RESET button for 10 seconds.
