6. Place the battery into the compartment (the red safety pin is pressed
downwards) and close the battery compartment.
7. The green LED blinks every 3
seconds for 30 seconds. The
CO alarm is then ready for
operation and the green LED
blinks every 30 seconds.
"0 ppm" appears in the
display.
8. Then enter the current date
(date of installation) on the
rear label of the alarm with a
water- and smudge-proof pen
(see adjacent figure).
