3.3 Operating principle
The SHMK10000 was developed for use in home automation systems that use the Z-
Wave wireless standard. The sensor enables the monitoring of windows and doors and
can be installed comfortably without drilling and wiring thanks to battery operation and
adhesive mounting. When the battery level is low, the detector automatically gives
feedback to the gateway.
