Replacing the TouchPad Bracket
Replacing the TouchPad Mylar Cover
1. Replace the TouchPad bracket left side first to
engage the securing clips.
2. Lower the bracket on to the upper case and press
down to engage the bottom edge securing clips.
3. Replace the TouchPad FFC and close the locking
latch on the connector.
4. Replace the adhesive strip as shown.
5. Replace the single securing screw.
1. Replace the Mylar cover in the area shown. 2. Press down to secure the adhesive pads.
NOTE: Ensure that the screw holes are accessible
through the cover.
