4. Peel back the two tabs of the conductive tape (D) covering the touchpad module
(Figure 1-14).
5. Remove two (2) screws (E) securing the touchpad module in place (Figure 1-14).

6. Carefully open the top assembly with one hand and remove the touchpad module
(G) from the top assembly (Figure 1-15).

Touchpad FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) can be damaged if removed while the
mainboard connector and the touchpad connector are locked.
