1. Turn off the computer. Disconnect the AC
adapter and remove the battery.
2. Disconnect all external devices such as a
keyboard or monitor.
3. Turn the computer over and locate the hard
disk drive bay cover.
4. Locate the release tab on the bottom side of
the hard disk drive bay cover. While pressing
down slightly on the release tab , slide the
cover to the right and set aside.

5. While lifting up the hard disk drive release
tab on the front of the hard disk drive
module, use both finger grip areas to pull the
module out of the computer.
