The ACM208/209 is a waterproof standalone keypad access controller, also capable of functioning as a Wiegand output keypad or card reader. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, even in harsh environments, it features a robust, vandal-proof Zinc Alloy electroplated case available in bright silver or matt silver finish. Its electronics are fully potted, ensuring it is waterproof and conforms to IP68 standards.

Function Description:

This multi-function device supports up to 2000 users, offering access via Card, 4-digit PIN, or a combination of Card + PIN. It incorporates an inbuilt card reader compatible with 125KHz EM cards and 13.56MHz Mifare cards. The unit boasts several advanced features, including lock output current short circuit protection, Wiegand output, and a backlit keypad. These features make it suitable for various applications, from small shops and domestic households to commercial and industrial settings like factories, warehouses, laboratories, banks, and prisons.

Usage Features:

The ACM208/209 offers comprehensive programming directly from the keypad.

• Access Modes: Supports Card only, Card and PIN, or Card or PIN (default) entry modes.
• User Management:
  • Adding Users: PIN users can be added with a User ID (1-2000) and a 4-digit PIN (0000-9999, excluding 1234). Cards can be added quickly with auto-generated User IDs or by allocating a specific User ID to a card. Cards can also be added using the last 8 digits of the card number.
  • Deleting Users: Individual PIN or card users can be deleted by User ID or card. There is also an option to delete all users, which is a dangerous option and should be used with care.
  • Changing PINs: PINs for PIN users or Card and PIN users can be changed either within or outside programming mode, allowing users to update their own PINs.
• Door Control:
  • Relay Output Delay Time: Adjustable from 0-99 seconds to set the door relay strike time.
  • Door Open Detection (DOTL): When used with a magnetic contact, the unit can warn if the door is opened normally but not closed after 1 minute (beeps for 1 minute).
  • Door Forced Open Warning: If the door is forced open or opened for more than 20 seconds, the internal buzzer and alarm output will activate. The alarm output time is adjustable from 0-3 minutes.
  • Keypad Lockout & Alarm Output Options: After 10 invalid cards or incorrect PINs within a 10-minute period, the keypad can either lockout for 10 minutes or activate both the alarm and internal buzzer for 10 minutes.
• Wiegand Output Reader Mode: The unit can operate as a Wiegand output reader, supporting a Wiegand 26-bit output for connection to compatible controllers.
• Backlit Keys: For ease of use in low-light conditions.
• Built-in Buzzer: Provides audible feedback for operations and alarms.
• LED Indicators: Red, Yellow, and Green LEDs display the working status, including power on, standby, keypad press, operation success/failure, and alarm status.

Maintenance Features:

• Reset to Factory Default: The unit can be reset by disconnecting power, then pressing and holding the '#' key while powering it back up. Upon hearing two "Di" sounds, release the '#' key. Note that only installer data is restored; user data remains unaffected.
• Anti-Tamper Alarm: Equipped with a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR), the unit triggers an alarm if the keypad is removed from its cover, providing an anti-tamper security feature.
• Lock Output Current Short Circuit Protection: Enhances the device's durability and safety by protecting against electrical faults.
• Easy Installation and Programming: Designed for straightforward setup and configuration.
