Note: the Peripheral Bus Controller IC21 is used to buffer the data
bus around the system. It also isolates may parts of the system from
each other to help improve reliability. It may disguise data bus
failures or open circuits. Be sure not to assume that any node is
connected to any other unless you have checked it. This particularly
applies to the SAA5050 and all 1MHz operating components. E.g. the
User VIA going down could stop the
System VIA.
