5. USE OF MAIN MACHINE PARTS (See Fig. l)
(1) Equipped with an electric switch for tapping operation clockwise or counterclockwise.
(2) To adjust the quick or slow feeding by feed handle.
(3) To operate the spindle handle wheel for micro feed.
(4) To adjust the scale size according to working need.
(5) Switch button function description.
(a) Before starting the machine turn the selection
knob (A) to (right for clock wise running, left
for counter clock wise)
(b) Push button (C) to start the machine.
(c) Push button (B) to stop the machine.
(d) When in emergency push button to stop the
machine. after clearing the trouble, release
emergency button, re-start the machine by
pushing the start button.
(6) Adjusting the table height-unlock the table by loosening table lock handle swing the table for
moving up or down.
(7) Spindle power down feed operation handle.
(a) When spindle power down feed is not in use, Lock the handle bar with T screw to prevent
misplaying power feed function.
(b) When using the spindle powerdown feed function.
(1) Unlock the T screw.
(2) Loosen the depth stop lock handle.
(3) Manually advance the quill to the desired depth with one hand.
(4) With the other hand , turn the depth stop scale counter-clockwise to zero.
(5) Tighten the depth stop lock handle the depth stop will now stop the drill at the pre
determined setting.
(6) Set to advance the quill at desired speed by turning the power down feed speed selector.
engage the power down feed by pulling the handle assembly away from the head. Disengage
the manual down feed by pushing the handle assembly toward the head.
(8) Power down feed speed selector-set to advance the quill at desired speed.
(9) Fine feed handwheel _ set the power downfeed speed selector to position. Engage the power
downfeed by pulling the handle assembly away from the head turn clockwise to lower the quill.
turn counter-clockwise to raise the quill.
(10) Arbor bolt cover - remove this cover when changing chuck arbor or cutter arbor.
(11) Speed lever – set the ever to desired speed. cavtion: do not change speed when machine is runmng.
