16. Turn the steering wheel 90° clockwise. Using a
plastic trim tool, release the lock as shown.
17. Turn the steering wheel 180° counterclockwise.
Using a plastic trim tool, release the lock as shown.

18. Remove the upper column cover (two retaining tabs
and two hooks).
19. Remove one self-tapping screw from the lower
column cover.
