What to do if my Addison Air Conditioner compressor will not start?

  If your Addison Air Conditioner's compressor won't start, check the disconnect switch, fuses, and wiring. Also, inspect the voltage to the contactor coil, transformer slave relay, and thermostat. If the compressor is hot, allow 2 hours to cool. Check the compressor for electrical failure and whether it may be seized. Finally, check the calibration of the high or low pressure switch, and inspect the oil failure control.
