Usage Features:
- Ease of Use: The control panel offers touch display settings for easy operation.
- Ice Size Selection: Users can choose between Small, Medium, and Large ice cube sizes. For room temperatures below 15°C, selecting small or medium ice is recommended to prevent ice from sticking together.
- Water Level Monitoring: The "Add Water" indicator illuminates when the water reservoir is low, prompting the user to refill. The unit automatically stops if the water pump cannot inject water.
- Ice Full Detection: The "Ice" indicator turns on, and the machine automatically stops working when the ice basket is full.
- Portability: As a "portable" ice maker, it is designed for convenient placement and use in various settings.
- Placement Requirements: The ice maker should be placed on a level surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with at least 10cm of space between the back and sides of the unit and the wall.
- Initial Setup: Before first use, it is recommended to allow the refrigerant fluid to settle for one hour after unpacking before plugging it in.
- Water Type: Only potable water should be used to make ice.
- Restarting: If the "Add Water" indicator is on, users should stop the ice maker, fill water, and press "Power" again to restart. A 3-minute settling period for the refrigerant liquid inside the compressor is recommended before restarting.
Maintenance Features:
- Regular Cleaning: The interior should be cleaned with diluted detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth. The ice basket should be removed for cleaning.
- Draining Water: After cleaning, the inside parts should be rinsed with water, and the water drained by unplugging the drain cap on the side.
- Exterior Cleaning: The outside of the ice maker should be cleaned regularly with a mild detergent solution and warm water.
- Drying: Both the interior and exterior should be dried with a soft cloth.
- Long-Term Storage: When the machine is not in use for a long time, the water drain cap should be opened to completely drain water from the reservoir.
- Water Replacement: To ensure hygiene, water in the reservoir should be changed every 24 hours.
- Safety Precautions:
- Do not operate with a damaged cord.
- Ensure the plug is accessible and connected to properly polarized outlets only.
- Do not run the power cord over carpeting or other heat insulators.
- Do not submerge the cord in water.
- Unplug before cleaning or servicing.
- Do not use flammable fluids for cleaning.
- Do not store explosive substances in the appliance.
- Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
- Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate defrosting or ice harvesting other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not use other types of electrical appliances inside the ice maker.
- The appliance must be earthed.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common issues such as "Add Water" indicator on, "Ice" indicator on, ice cubes sticking together, and ice making cycle being normal but no ice being made, along with possible causes and solutions. For issues like refrigerant leaks or blocked pipes, verification by a qualified technician is recommended.
