Bars Tones and ID allows an operator to ‘tag’ the video outputs for path routing verification.
The video outputs may be tagged with a combination of generated bars/color, OSD overlay
and generated tones. Note: When an audio pair / channel is configured for Pass through
operation (LPCM, Dolby E, Dolby D, etc.) internal tone generation does not function for the
pass through channels.
Advanced Tones allows the operator to mute Left/Right channels or change tone frequency.
As of 2.01.XX Firmware, Bars/Tones/ID functionality has some ties to the Fault Mode
configuration (Fault Mode via the Video -> Output tab). Adtec is working to break
dependencies for future firmware releases.
