Whichever
method
is
preferred,
the
window
should
be
opened
as
little
as
possible
in
order
to
ensure
maximum
efficiency.
If
the
window
is
fitted
with
shutters
of
blinds,
these
should
be
partially
closed
in
order
to
reduce
exposure
to
direct
sunlight
and
to
prevent
warm
air
from
entering
the
room.
Do
not
obstruct
the
exhaust
vent.
N.B.:
Check
that
the
air-conditioner
is
perfect-
ly
level.
If
necessary,
fit
the
special
©
stops
to
the
two
front
castors.
USING
THE
UNIT
AS
A
DEHUMIDIFIER
e
Position
the
unit
anywhere
in
the
room
to
be
dehumidified
without
fitting
the
exhaust
hose,
so
that
the
air
is
vented
directly
into
the
room.
Maintain
the
clearance
distances
indicated
at
back,
sides
and
front.
The
condensation
water
can
be
collected
in
the
internal
canister
or
piped
to
the
exterior.

Collecting
the
condensation
in
the
internal
tank
The
condensation
is
collected
in
the
internal
canister.
When
the
canister
is
full,
the
FULL
pilot
lamp
lights
andthe
appliance
switches
off.
In
this
case,
empty
the
canister
and
restartthe
appliance.

Discharging
the
condensation
externally
through
the
condensation
tube
.
Remove
the
condensation
tube
from
the
rear
compartment,
remove
the
plug
and
connect
toa
_
floor-level
drainage
duct.
The
condensation
tube
can
be
fitted
with
an
extension
tube
(maximum
length
2
m.).
The
extension
tube
must
be
of
the
same
diameter
and
positioned
at
floor
level.
Take
care
not
to
crush
the
extension
tube.
‘The
condensation
can
also
be
drained
into
a
basin
(maximum
height
11cm.).
Inthis
case,
care
should
be
taken
to
prevent
overflowing.
When
unit
is
used
as
an
air-conditioner,
the
humidity
of
the
air
in
the
room
is’
reduced
automatically.
When
the
unit
is
used
as
a
dehumidifier,
it
also
heats
the
room
with
a
power
of
690W.
USING
THE
UNIT
AS:A
HEATER
e
Position
the
unit
anywhere
in
the
room
to
be
heated
without
fitting
the
discharge
hose.
Maintain
the
clearance
distances
indicated
a
back,
sides
and
front.
