WARNING
Proper care and maintenance of your G4 will ensure years
of service. The unit must be turned off during service /
maintenance or when filters are being changed.
It is recommended that gloves and a dust mask be worn
during filter replacement.
Pre-Filter - Dust and other large particles will collect on
the pre-filter over time. The color of the filter will change as
particulates build up on the pre-filter. It is recommended to
change the pre-filter at least every 12 months or as needed.
HEPA Filters - As the HEPA filters capture particulates,
they will darken over time. Vacuum the filters each time you
change the pre-filter and replace the HEPA filters every 2
years or as needed. The carbon layers in the HEPA filters
capture odors and gasses. When this layer has reached its
maximum absorbancy, the filter will no longer work.

NOTE: Failure to properly maintain your G4 will decrease its efficiency and air flow. Filter life is based on average
air content. Some filters may need to be changed more often due to higher amounts of dust, humidity, or chemicals
found in your ambient air. Additionally, people who are more sensitive to these airborne contaminates may desire more
frequent filter changes.
