Why does my AES global Praetorian Guard app show offline on 3G/4G but online on Wi-Fi, and push notifications don't work?
    • S
      susan71Aug 15, 2025
If your AES global Intercom System app shows an online status when your phone is on the same network but offline when on 3G/4G or a remote Wi-Fi network, and push notifications aren't working, it may be due to a commercial firewall. The IT provider for your business needs to open a port to allow P2P and PUSH notification traffic through the firewall. Recommended unassigned ports are 6806, 6809, 9123, and 9124.

How to fix no notifications for calls on my AES global Praetorian Guard Intercom System?
    • B
      bensonmelindaAug 18, 2025
If your AES global Intercom System is online and working through the application, but you are not receiving notifications, even for calls, ensure the time is correct. Go to the settings menu, navigate to the clock settings, and press 'sync phone time' to sync the current time from your cellphone. This should only need to be done once, as the time is then pulled from the server.

What to do if AES global Praetorian Guard Intercom System has lagging video, delayed notifications, and intermittent online/offline status?
    • J
      Jeffrey ChambersAug 21, 2025
If you are experiencing lagging video or audio, delayed notifications, intermittent online/offline status, or inconsistent push notification operation with your AES global Intercom System, it could be due to too many devices on your home network. Try turning off as many other devices as possible and then reboot your router. If the unit then works, it indicates that your router needs to be upgraded to handle the demand.

How to resolve offline status on AES global Praetorian Guard Intercom System due to incorrect Wi-Fi password?
    • T
      Tracey MezaAug 25, 2025
If the AES global Intercom System app displays an offline status and won't connect to the network, it may be due to an incorrect Wi-Fi password entered during setup. Try the setup process again, ensuring you use the correct password. Verify the Wi-Fi password by testing it on your phone: forget the network, then reconnect using the same password.

Why is my AES global Intercom System showing 'fetching' on video with delayed notifications?
    • C
      Christine NelsonAug 28, 2025
If the AES global Intercom System app shows an online status locally and remotely, but push notifications are delayed, video lags, or the video screen shows 'fetching', the issue might be insufficient upload speed. You will need to discuss this with your ISP / broadband provider.

Why does my AES global Praetorian Guard Intercom System work sometimes but not others, with fluctuating Wi-Fi signal?
    • J
      Jacqueline HarrisAug 31, 2025
If your AES global Intercom System works well sometimes but not at other times, and the Wi-Fi signal strength on the app's Wi-Fi screen varies from strong to weak, it could be that several Wi-Fi networks are using the same SSID. The intercom may be switching between networks based on traffic and connected devices. Change the SSID name of the Wi-Fi network closest to the intercom to a unique name.

How to fix AES global Praetorian Guard Intercom System app showing offline with video 'fetching' and call lag?
    • G
      George DuranSep 4, 2025
If the app for your AES global Intercom System shows an offline status, the video image displays 'fetching', there's a long lag on calls, intermittent online/offline status, and delayed push notifications, the Wi-Fi signal at the gate may be too weak. If possible, increase the height of the antenna. Alternatively, install a Wi-Fi booster inside the house near the front of the property, or use a loft or eaves-mounted external Wi-Fi booster. As another option, install a CAT5 cable from the intercom to the router.

What causes delayed push notifications and video lag on AES global Praetorian Guard?
    • P
      Paige CarrollSep 7, 2025
If you're experiencing delayed push notifications, video lag, voice problems, freezing, or relays not opening the gate with your AES global Intercom System, it might be due to the wrong power cable (too thin) installed from the 24v adapter to the intercom, or the power adapter being too far from the intercom. Change the power cable to the specifications shown within this manual.
