Disconnect battery, remove license plate bracket, bumper skid, and related fasteners.
Remove center bumper section, air diverter clips, and wheel liner closeouts.
Remove specific bolts from the radiator support and unclip the overflow hose.
Open winch controller, disconnect existing harness, and route the AEV harness.
Isolate and splice the small black motor ground wire within the controller enclosure.
Mount the controller to the bracket and reassemble the controller housing.
Install bracket, route motor leads between radiator shroud and frame rail.
Mount winch body, connect motor leads to studs, and attach ground wire.
Run winch cable through fairlead, trim air diverter, and reinstall.
Reinstall bumper sections, skid plates, and wheel liner closeouts.
Drill holes and mount license plate over or under the fairlead as required.
Attach positive and negative battery lines and spool the winch cable.
