Warranty

All AFL’s products are warranted against defective material and workman-

ship for a period of one year from the date of shipment to the original

customer. Any product found to be defective within the warranty period will

be repaired or replaced by AFL.

Replacing Battery

• Remove the side battery door, then pull out the battery.

• Place the battery in the unit ensuring that the [ + ] and [ – ] poles

correspond with the poles that are printed in the compartment.

• Replace the side battery door.

Note: The VFI4 contains no user serviceable parts. Except for changing

batteries, this instrument must be returned to AFL for repair.

Cleaning Optical Output

Use lint-free optical cleaning wipes such as AFL FiberWipes and optical

quality cleaning uid such as AFL FCC2 connector cleaning uid.
