1.1.8 Disposal

All products will end up sooner or later as scrap that must be handled correctly to avoid environmental dam-
age. The same applies to this combine.
When disposing of the combine, the following precautions must be taken:
1. Enquire about current national regulations governing the disposal of machines and strictly observe them.
2. If no specific regulations are in force, information can be obtained from the dealer on the possibility of
having a specialised company handle the disposal.
Some useful advice on the disposal or scrapping of the combine:
1. Drain the hydraulic and hydrostatic systems, transmission, diesel engine, final drives, etc. and collect the
oil in suitable containers. Waste oil must be disposed of properly according to regulations.
2. Drain the coolant from the radiator and dispose of it properly according to regulations.
3. Empty the climate control system. Contact your local dealer or specialists who have the proper tools for
the purpose.
4. Separate the different materials, e.g. glass, plastic, iron, aluminium, tyres etc. to facilitate disposal or re-
cycling.
5. If the machine is equipped with an isotopic yield meter, the local AGCO dealer must be contacted in case
of disposal or onward sale of the machine.
NOTE: Waste must be disposed of according to current regulations on waste management.
