2.7.8 DESIGNATED SIGNIFICANT ZONES OF OCCUPANCY
X-ray equipment specified for examination that do not need the operator or staff
to be close to the patient during normal use shall be provided with means to
allow the following control functions from a “Protected Area”(refer to illustration
below):
Selection and control of modes of operation.
Selection of loading factors for the exposure.
Actuation of the exposure controls.
Other necessary controls for the operator during exposure.
