8. CAL FREQ Adjustment Routine
This adjustment applies to:
All 8590 E-Series and L-Series spectrum analyzers
8591C cable TV analyzers
8594Q QAM analyzers
The
CAL FREQ softkey accesses an internal self-adjustment routine.
The “CAL FREQ Adjustment Routine” adjusts the analyzer to obtain
frequency accuracy using CAL OUT signal. The following adjustments
are automatically performed by
CAL FREQ routine.
Sweeptime calibration
YTO offset and slope
FM coil timing constants
Span attenuator
FM detector sensitivity
